Description

This is a vector illustration of a curtain with a pattern that I created in Illustrator. I produced the 3D effect of the curtain with gradient mesh tool. I drew the pattern with various drawing tools, including the the pen, arc, and ellipse, and various pathfinder options. The pattern is simply a separate illustration set above the curtain with the overlay blending mode. The blending mode and the gradients in the curtain below create the illusion that the pattern is screen printed onto the undulating curtain.
