Description

This illustration is based on the famous President Obama campaign posters designed by Sheppard Fairey, though posterizations are common in graphic design. The process involved manipulating threshold values for various color separations from a photo in Photoshop, and then using the pen tool in Illustrator to color the shapes within each separation. I drew the three hairs above my forehead and the triangles representing hair clusters by the temple. I decided that my inspirational message was “Creative.” Just for fun, I decided to run for president, too.
