Description

This was the first Facebook timeline cover photo and profile pic combo that I created. I created it in Photoshop and started with the larger image. I wanted to experiment a little with depth, and I opted for highlights in the middle of the field as if the sun or some other light source was shining on that area. I kept the grass closest to the viewer darker, the grass further away lighter, and the middle field highlighted. Next, rather than make the profile pic just a bunch of grass blades like the rest of the illustration, I thought it would add more interest to draw the ground underneath the grass in section since the profile pic hangs lower than the cover photo.
